The quality of the nuts and carob we sell comes straight from the farms. However, it is also important to preserve and monitor that quality throughout the entire value chain. We do this by applying exhaustive controls that cover all of our production processes, along with a way of working that allows us to offer all manner of bespoke products. Our aim is to become your trusted partner, which means that not only do we adjust our products to the exact specifications of each order, but we also maintain that same quality lot after lot.
Traceability and food safety are part of our culture. This means that everyone on our team is involved with these subjects, along with all of our partners and suppliers. Together, this allows us to offer high-quality products that are always safe and authentic. As an important way of demonstrating this, we maintain IFS certification. We also have other certifications that reflect our commitment to sustainability and good agricultural practices, as well as various certifications related to the commercial aspects of our operations.
International Featured Standards (IFS)
International Featured Standards (IFS) are issued by an international entity that assesses safety and quality for food production and distribution processes. This system is especially suitable for distributors and retailers, to ensure compliance with all legal and food safety requirements.
Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit (SMETA)
This certification evaluates the existence of ethical and sustainable business practices, including aspects related to society, the environment, and employment. Being certified in this way demonstrates our commitment to responsible commerce and transparency throughout the entire supply chain.
GLOBALG.A.P. (Good Agricultural Practices)
GLOBALG.A.P. certification recognises good agricultural practices, to ensure that products are being produced in a sustainable and environmentally respectful way, while also emphasising food safety and wellbeing for employees and workers.
EcoVadis
EcoVadis evaluates the sustainability of enterprises in the areas of environment, employment practices, ethical conduct, and responsible procurement. This assessment produces a point score that helps companies improve their practices, along with their reputation for sustainability. Currently, Unió Nuts has been awarded the EcoVadis Bronze Medal.

Halal certification confirms that products comply with the pertinent Islamic rules relating to food production, processing, and ingredients.
Certificat Kosher
This form of certification verifies that products are produced in compliance with the dietary laws of Judaism.
