About us
Unió Nuts is the leading nut cooperative in Spain, specialised in almonds, hazelnuts, and carob. We are part of the Unió cooperative group, which has been improving the lives of farmers and promoting rural development since 1942.
We have been recognised by Spain’s Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food and Environment as a Priority Cooperative Entity (2018).
What is our purpose?
Our activities are always focused on the production of nuts and carob in a safe, responsible, and sustainable way.
We bring together growers and markets, with the aim of supplying natural, flavourful products and ingredients, by applying maximum care and respect to everything we do. We supervise the entire production chain, from the farms to the foods you eat.
To fulfil this purpose, with are ready to overcome any challenge. Our priorities also include encouraging participation by young farmers, to help ensure that the local agricultural traditions will be passed on to the next generation, and to help maintain a demographic balance in the region’s rural communities. For our customers, our aim is to always act as the best partner possible, with an ongoing commitment to quality, innovation, and efficiency.
